You may be wondering why a web design business has ‘weavr’ in its name. After discovering that I have a knack for basketweaving, I became an avid basketweaver and learned to weave many different types of baskets. I loved the creative process of starting with an idea and then creating a basket.  Thus I became a weaver.

I quickly learned that my initial vision did not always become the end product because the basket itself frequently has a different vision from mine. I learned to be flexible and adjust my design as needed.  Over time I realized that I have a creative and intuitive sense of color and ‘what looks good’.

About ten years ago, I started doing web design and found it is the same creative process I experience when I create a basket or a quilt.  So for me, web design is like weaving a beautiful and unique basket.

When I create a web site – I weave it! I take your needs and likes and desires and weave them with good design and color to create a website that reflects you and your story.  After all, it IS your story, not mine.
